Our 5th and final post from Broadstone and Springdale's awesome summer camp is of our Poole Monopoly Run where we teamed up with our new Portuguese Scout friends staying at our HQ! We took the train from Christchurch to Poole, met up, explored Poole using our own Poole based Monopoly board, enjoyed 66 portions of fish and chips π€―, and headed home! While the Scouts were exploring Poole, the leadership teams headed for the pub (where else!) to discuss international Scouting relations! π We've made lots of new friends and have been invited to Portugal for a future international adventure! #scouts #internationalscouting #SkillsForLife #adventure #fun π΅πΉπ€π¬π§
Broadstone Scout Group is feeling joyful at Perch Pool Scout Campsite.
Post/Day 4 of Springdale and Broadstone Troop's Summer Camp started with some free time for things like whittling, cleaning, games, exploring, pioneering, food prep, and eating. Then after lunch they headed down to the river for Traditional Rafting! Unfortunately, they were not familiar with the barrels available, so their rafts weren't afloat for very long!! π #scouts #SkillsForLife #rafting #adventure #fun
